Paul Simon
Paul Simon is a respected labor leader, business executive, and advocate for working families whose career spans decades of service in union leadership, community engagement, and workforce wellness. He is especially passionate about advancing mental health and wellness for all and serves as a peer support advocate and consultant dedicated to expanding access to meaningful, stigma-free care.
Paul retired on May 1, 2014, after 10 years as a full-time Union Business Manager for Delmarva Power and 17½ years as an International Representative with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW). He served in the IBEW 3rd District Office in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania, as Assistant to the Vice President for 5½ years before becoming a Field Representative in October 2002.
As a Field Representative, Paul represented union members throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware across all classifications at various utilities, including clerical and customer service professionals, as well as gas, electric, and HVAC field employees. His work centered on contract negotiations, grievance resolution, labor-management relations, and protecting the rights and livelihoods of working men and women.
